Also, the big news is that Google have purchased of the Social Games developer SocialDeck.

Frogster partnered with Snail Game announced Browser game Throne of Fire

That flash-based strategy role playing game Throne of Fire puts you in a new fantasy world where you assume the role of a warrior, warlock, priest or paladin and fight for glory for one of two nations. With your heroes, you fight against nasty monsters, and band together with other players in large groups to explore dungeons. Drawing the inspiration of Legend: Legacy of the Dragons, Throne of Fire is a dragon-themed browser game where you build castles, manage your cities, learn skills. The gameplay of Throne of Fire would be similar to heroes of Gaia and Ministry of War.

Gala Networks Announces Browser Game Terra Militaris

Seems Snail Game put all of their business in the European market and lately, Snail Game liscensed its Browser MMO RTS-RPG Terra militaris to Gala Networks Europe. In Terra Militaris, you choose one of the four empires – Rome, Egypt, Persia and China through its five time periods. You create a hero, sends it in siege battles to conquer hostile areas. The game will be involved in the spread of religion, exploring unknown areas and the creation of trade routes. To defend your realm, you must become a powerful hero and train an army with your weapons and  tactics for the battles.

Google Buys Social Games developer SocialDeck

Google announced it has acquired SocialDeck, a social game, the maker of cross-platform social games for iPhones, BlackBerry devices, and Facebook, which suggests Google is channelling the energy and pulling talents to compete with social networking service provider such as Facebook, Bebo, Myspace, and Friendster.
