The game does not – in anyway – live up to the expectations. The concept is refreshing but the game is just not worthwhile playing. Dovogames uses an old version of Business Tycoon Online at the international market. The Chinese version is better developed.

The game is heavily unfair to normal game players who are not able to basically do anything besides routine tasks, which take up at least an hour per day. Paying players entering a server at a later moment also have a disadvantage, so they can’t really compete. Events are set up so that previous winners just keep winning.

The global feel is you are being ripped off. It gets tiresome and boring after just 2 weeks of play. Suggestions by players are not taken seriously into consideration. Server are dying out quickly, with an average (at the moment) of just 125 players per server. Making the total number of active players just over 5000. In the last months BTO has seen a gradual decline in unique visitors (google trends) and I believe this will continue.

The overall feel is that Dovogame is focussing with its Business Tycoon Online on earning money and not in serving players a good, well balanced and satisfying game.
